can't think of any computer games at the moment that have been created to increase environmental issue awareness. i could think of some possible ideas for it though. they could be played at school and stuff. but as you probably know, the best way to increase awareness is going out there and making a difference :)Can computer games be used to raise environment issues within our community?
There are wildlife rescue games. Like the Wild Thornberry's. They have fact cards about different wildlife, and you can learn about what the animals like in their environment.

Also, Zoo Tycoon helps you learn proper habitation for animals in captivity.

I'm not sure how to develop something like that, but to have something that is fun and interactive that raises awareness of environmental issues in the general public would be superb!
