Most people that are hardcore PC Gamers build there own to some extent. I have heard great things about the Dell XPS gaming computer.
the desktop should must have atleast 1gb graphics card and 3 gb of ram.....the its just the perfect for gaming purpose.....
and the processor should also be powerful such as core2duo or later versions......What is the best desktop for playing computer games?
If I was setting up a new gaming PC today I would only consider using a 64 bit operating system. Unfortunately that OS would have to be Windows because most games require it. If you have a 32 bit OS you can't access more than 4GB memory space - with the graphics card and other hardware's mem space decucted from that you may have less than 3GB available. Personally I prefer a quad core but this isn't vital since the majority of games can't use more than two cores well. Graphics card should be an ATI HD4870 or an NVidia GTX200 series card at least. Maybe buy the dual core CPU so that you can get a better graphics card, since the G card is usually the bottleneck in the system. A Core i7 might make little difference with an NVidia 9800GT for example since a Core2Duo can supply it with all the data that it can handle.
