The last time I used steam I got a virus from someone else and it destroyed my computer. That was a while ago. How safe is Steam now??? I recently bought two games Fear 2 and Kane %26amp; Lynch 2 but they both require Steam to play. It said nothing about Steam on the game box. Is is safe to play these games using Steam?? well first steam is still safe but make sure you have agood anti virus that could be why you got them in the first place not becuse of steam.Is Steam software safe to use to play computer games?
I am guessing that that was a total coincidence...I have been using steam since it debuted and I have never got a virus or trojan from using it. and if it did happen because of steam it was a one time only thing...
