How come my computer games wont work on my new computer?

I have a new computer that only has windows installed and i installed direct x but my games tell me i dont have direct x installedHow come my computer games wont work on my new computer?

See if there are any problems, and make sure the version of Direct X is correct.



EDIT: You cannot uninstall Direct X, it is a part of Windows.

those games might not be for vista..that is if you have vista.

if you have xp..just uninstall directx and re install it, make sure your games are uninstalled too. once you re-install direct x, install hello kitty island adventures or what ever it is you like to play.How come my computer games wont work on my new computer?
You must install direct x either on the internet or sometime the disc has it to install. This program is used for almost everything
sometime it depend on your operating system, lot of old game will not
