I had to re-download Direct X %26amp; the drivers for my desktop %26amp; the driver for my Nvidia GeForce 7050/ nForce 620i but the games are still running horribly slow! They ran perfectly fine before I gave my computer in for repair.
What can be the problem? I checked the Windows 7 Update and everything was up-to-date.Sent my computer in for repair %26amp; had a hard drive replaced %26amp; now computer games are running very slow?
This can be caused by many things. I'm thinking that your new HD wasn't set up to be the master drive or that the megahertz of the new one doesn't match the old one. The techies should have done this or tried to match them so you could experience similar performance. One thing you can check is the DMA settings for your new drive in control panel. I'm assuming that they/you had to reinstall your operating system. Hope this helps you out. But if not then if I were you I would take the computer back and tell them what up and insist that they fix the problem for you for free.
